I tell true stories with sound.

I am an Alaskan raised, longtime New Yorker, now living in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

I am drawn to the magic of radio. I use classic reporting and storytelling techniques to tell important stories. I especially care about elevating the voices of those seldom heard.

My journalism skills were honed at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. Before that, I spent 15 years working as a communications consultant to big-name technology companies. I transitioned to radio through a Transom Workshop.

Currently, I produce and host the Parent School Podcast with Polly Ely, MFT. I also produce stories about people in Puerto Rico that help the outside world better understand the island and its people.

If you want to know where to find good mofongo and bomba music in Puerto Rico, please ask.

I would also love to hear about your radio needs on the island.
